Prayer Reminder

I just wanted to send a quick reminder to pray for Emmy today at 10am. My oh-so-gracious mother-in-law has offered to attend the panel with us. That way, she can step out with Emmy if needed. What an answer to prayer! I look forward to updating you all tomorrow evening. Thanks again!

    How did yesterday go?
    I just found your blog (chasing rabbit trails, really) and am amazed at the similarities to my family. We foster (although not babies like you are doing) and may adopt someday. My husband is taking his CFP exam in a week (prayers please!) and I volunteer for the kids programs at our Baptist church. Weird, huh? :)

    Laurke...how bizarre! I am so glad you found me! I'll be following your blog now too, and I will certainly be praying over that dreaded CFP exam. I remember that final week of study.

    Thank you all for praying. You can see the update at this point on the blog, but I need to emphasize what an answer to prayer the verdict was at the panel. Considering how poorly things were presented by Emmy's case worker, it was nothing short of a miracle that the panel agreed to her recommendation to file for TPR. I don't rejoice in that verdict. It's a very sad thing that I mourn for Emmy's mom, but for Emmy's sake, it is in her best interest. God is good. Thank you all so much.
